The NXIQ™ 200 speeds access to content while dramatically reducing the cost and complexity of storing and managing it.
NEXIO™ NXIQ™ Series
Near-Line/Archive Clustered Storage
The NEXIO™ NXIQ™ clustered storage series addresses the full spectrum of storage needs in the most demanding television production and broadcast environments. Introduced as the first offering to emerge from Harris’ OEM relationship with Isilon® Systems, the leader in clustered storage, NXIQ™ is a family of enterprise-class, near-line/archive storage solutions that combine an intelligent, distributed file system with modular, industry-standard hardware to deliver unmatched simplicity, resiliency and scalability.
The powerful NXIQ™ 1920i, 3000i and 6000i systems scale from three to 96 nodes, and from 6 TB to 1 PB in a single file system while delivering greater than 7 GBps of total aggregate throughput. The entry-level NXIQ™ 200 system scales from three to 24 nodes, and from 6 TB to 48 TB.
NXS3100 Series
SBOD Storage Array
The NXS3100 series of storage arrays add a high-performance SBOD (Switched Bunch of Drives) storage system option to the NEXIO™ storage area network (SAN). NEXIO SBOD storage systems support 15,000-rpm drives for 4 Gb Fibre Channel performance — translating to as much as 8,348 Mb/s of bandwidth per SAN.
The NXS3100 series features a 3RU chassis with eight 4 Gb/s-capable Fibre Channel ports on the rear, supporting the NEXIO direct connect model (up to eight NEXIO chassis), as well as our switched Fibre Channel architecture. The chassis will accommodate up to 16 15,000-rpm Fibre Channel drives. It is offered in 8-drive and 16-drive configurations, with a choice of 146 GB or 300 GB drives. Two hot-swappable power supplies are included.
