Animo 6.0 includes more than fifty new features requested by Animo users worldwide, with the aim of enhancing the Animo experience at all stages in the production pipeline, from system configuration, through scanning, processing and painting, to compositing and output.

Animo Color Model / Ink and Paint
Animo Color Model / Ink and Paint is the fastest and most flexible ink and paint solution available. Change color palettes for a whole show in an instant, not scene by scene like some inferior systems. Unique blending effects and line thickening are available right in Ink and Paint. Animo's patented regionalization system makes finding and fixing paint leaks a snap. Separation of the Ink and Paint levels allows easy painting even of sketchy styles of animation which most other systems baulk at.

Additional power in Director
A-B flipping in the Drawing Window allows two frames, or two effects, to be immediately compared.
Retained replay
Existing replay sequences can be extended or partially re-rendered with the minimum effort.
Parallel channels in most position and filter nodes
Allows the same transform or effect to be applied to several separate images at once.
Color line drawings
Supported in the Drawing Window and in the Make New Level command.
New Artwork Inspector window
Extensive support for image sequences has been added. Undoped BG/OL node and keyboard doping of images.
New Open and Refresh commands.
Image editing from within Director is now supported.
