JETZPLAY is a versatile playout server with a playout manager that can deliver two HD or 2/4/8 SD channels on a single ASI up to 100 Mbps throughput. It has a sophisticated packing technique of streams based on an adaptive technology – ADPACTTM – and built-in statistical multiplexing, based on forward prediction of large frames.
An intuitive UI enables easy playlist creation and management. A highlight of JETZPLAY is its remote playlist manager which can control the playout server even through the internet.
The ADPACTTM core and the built-in statistical multiplexer ensure an almost constant bit rate delivery on the Transport Stream. The JETZPLAY DVB Playout Server comes in two versions to support playout requirements of broadcasters, DTH operators and MSOs: JETZPLAY – the playout server – and JETZNV – the nVoD server.
The system is built on the Linux OS and a robust hardware platform for trouble-free 24 x 365 operation.
